Summary: Who is the dummy?
Comment: I agree with Ancient Icon, I am a senior developer my self, but this book did not help me at all, I tried the first example myself for few times, and I never got it right. I purchased this book to make simple banners and ads for my websites, however I could not learn anything from it. Publisher is telling about a lot what you can learn from this book, but non is true. At the end I asked myself who is the dummy? readers or writers?

Summary: Not For Dummies And Not For Beginners
Comment: I'm a senior software developer who has four images the same size. I wanted to transition through the four images, morphing from each image to the next, and repeating this a limited number of times. I have never used the Flash product before. I spent 5 hours with this book one afternoon and after 5 hours I was unable to learn from this book how to do the simple task of morphing those four images. This is not a book that leads you by the hand. It is not a book for Flash Dummies. As one reviewer said, it is a book looking for an audience. Of the many technical books and the few Dummies books that I have, this book is by far one of the worst books for a beginner of a technology to think they can learn from. I'm sorry, but this is not a well done book and in the Dummies line of books, its one of their worst efforts. I'm returning the book to Amazon for a refund, because I believe its useless to me.

Comment: Flash CS3 For Dummies (For Dummies (Computer/Tech))Great book for mastering flash and learning all of the new features in CS3. Dummies books are the best reference guides. Thumbs up five stars!
