Summary: Please Pass the Aspirin
Comment: I am not a techie. I do not want to be a techie. I've worked with computers all my adult life, but I've never fallen in love with the beasties. If somebody gave me a "do it to it" button that just made things work without all the heavy lifting, I'd be a happy camper. However, WordPress for Dummies is by techies, for techies. Ms. Sabin-Wilson dumps a lot of information on the table and says, "Here you go!" as if the pile of rubble you see before you is immediately comprehensible. Her explanations tend to be circular and presented in techie-speak. I use WordPress, and I had hoped this book would answer questions as they came up. No such luck--at least if you want a direct answer to a specific question.

Summary: A Great Wordpress Tool!
Comment: This book was very helpful in figuring out how Wordpress works and what you can do with it. I was very happy to find useful examples and explanations of the inner workings of the software. I especially recommend the section on using Wordpress as a content management system.

I recommend this book as a way to get started and a place to go when you get confused over blog specific lingo and the like.
