Summary: An entertaining and educating read
Comment: Steve Krug has written a really usable book on usability. He writes in a relaxed way and explains his thoughts in a plain and accessible prose.
This is an excellent book for anyone interested to learn more about Web Usability. Steve Krug cuts through to the point on every page and it is the first book about my day job that I've finished in less than three (3!) days.
The best part of this book is how it gives you the tools to start practicing Web Usability as soon as you've finished it and at such a low cost that you start to wonder why you didn't come up with this before!

It is an easy read but the content is a gold mine for all you webdiggers out there. I can't do anything but highly recommend everyone in the field to read this book!

Summary: Good material
Comment: This is a good book for the new web designer. If you are an advanced user looking to expand your knowledge of useability, etc., then this book may be less than useful. UNLESS...you are a designer with cantankerous clients trying to get you to do something you know is a bad idea. Then you can refer them to this book.

This is also a great book for those in Marketing or other departments working with web designers. It's a great book for a small business owner working with a web designer for the first time. The information isn't too complex and is laid out very simply...even non-tech folks can find this to be a great resource.

Summary: If you read one book on UI read this one
Comment: Not much more to say. Its a definitive introduction, that influenced my life immensely. I have an M.A. in Multimedia (first graduating class in the world), have been in the web industry for 10 years, and manage a 20,000 page web site.

Summary: Average Web Designers? You've found your bible!
Comment: This is an excellent resource - crystal clear and quite understandable. Practical in providing "best practices" that you can actually DO - quickly and with little or no additional resources.
