Customer Rating: Summary: Another great book by Scott Kelby!! Comment: Another excellent book by Scott Kelby, very readable, packed with info. A good read when you first get it ,now it has become a reference book that I will go back to again and again. This is not my first photography book purchase, Kelby ranks as my number 1 photo and everything adobe author.
Customer Rating: Summary: Loved This Book Comment: Scott Kelby has a unique writing style which is right up my alley. He has the ability to make learning fun. This book is not for that "SNOBISH PRO PHOTOGRAPHER" who already knows everything, but its awesome for folks like me who are still in the learning process. And those who enjoy some humor along with the learning. His humor is definately "different", but i thoroughly enjoy his style.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great again.... Comment: I enjoyed the first book, and this one is no different. Scott Kelby does a great job of dividing his books into small, workable topics that you can absorb and learn as you read. That way you're not reading a long book of information and then thinking "how do I do that?" This book goes several steps more in depth than the first book. The first one is great general information to help any beginning photographer (point & shoot, or SLR) achieve better photos. This book goes into more indepth topics about specific ways to make better portraits through use of "pro tips" for how to use flash more effectively, etc.
I highly recommend anything Scott Kelby writes!
Customer Rating: Summary: Great for any level photographer Comment: I have taken pictures with a SLR since the 70's and am fairly accomplished but there is always more to learn. Scott Kelby makes it easy to do that. About half the pages of my copy are dog eared and I return to this time and again. A wonderful follow up to his first effort with great tips in easy to understand language. Highly recommended.
Customer Rating: Summary: The How-To Guide for Pro and Amateur Photographers Comment: Scott Kelby delivers (yet again) with this second volume. As a professional photographer, I'm always reading up on tips and tricks. Kelby gets straight the point with techniques as well as invaluable information of what equipment to buy and why. Unlike all other how-to or instructional guides, Kelby, in a way only he can, makes everything clear and funny.
I would highly recommend this and all other Scott Kelby books to pros and amateurs alike.
