Summary: Photoshop Layers
Comment: Quite simply, this book is a "must read" for photoshop users. I have been using photoshop since version 5 and I wish that I had read this book way back then. It is well written with easy, follow along examples of all of the many powerful uses of layers. Matt has a writing style that is both humerous and entertaining while being concise and educational. I have read a lot of instructional books about photoshop, and find this to be one of the most useful and practical ones.

Comment: Layers: The Complete Guide to Photoshop's Most Powerful Feature
I have found this to be a very informative book, I am not a beginner but felt Matt could shed some light on area that I was not familar with. I was correct I have learned new techiniques, plus have some new ideas.
I recommend for the beginner plus people like me that just want to increase their knowledge without taking classes.

Comment: I've been using Photoshop for over a decade... okay, two decades. But I was never a power user and did not understand all the features offered in layers. Type layers I understood. I could do all the cool effects on type. But adjustment layers and their masking features were beyond me. No longer. Matt Kloskowski has a way of making it all seem easy--and it makes sense! Suddenly I am turning into a power user! My photos look better than ever before! If you use Photoshop for work or home, you need this book!

Summary: Best Photoshop Step-by-Step Book ever.
Comment: This book is the best step-by-step lesson for a novice and an intermediate Photoshop user. You will learn so many good tricks with layers, that you will be manipulation this software like a pro.
You will also want to have this book next to your computer at all time.
The writer makes it really easy and fun to read and apply the illustrations showed in the several chapters.
I just Love this book, great Job Matt.
