Summary: Head First SCWCD
Comment: It is a good book, and easy to understand, but it takes a lot of time to download mock sample.

Summary: Incredible Guide To More Than Just Servlets and JSP
Comment: Speaking of... didn't this book used to be titled ... well, nevermind ... anyway, this book is yet another example of a wonderful series by the Head First authors. I had been looking for a long time for a book that got into real details and the "why" behind things ... in a down to earth way. It's almost like I traveled to the future, learned all of this stuff, came back through time, and wrote a book that finally answered all of my questions in a way that was easy (and fun) to understand. I soaked up every ounce of this book. Thanks again Head First authors!

Summary: Very Enjoyable and Informative
Comment: I recently opened the books (both, The Servlets book and the EJB book) to reread a few chapters here and there to refresh my memory. I enjoyed every minute and had a hard time putting the books aside.

Many reviewers have written about the "Head First"'s refreshing style. Among other things, part of this success I attribute to the "No Dumb Questions" sections: the authors keep impressing me with their ability to anticipate not so superficial questions popping in my head as I read or re-read the books some time later. My wishes for the 2nd editions: more detailed indexes and hard covers.

Summary: Head First Rocks
Comment: This is how technical books should be written. I've learned a lot reading this book once than reading another scwcd certification book several times.

Summary: Decent SCWCD book
Comment: This is a decent book for passing SCWCD. The mock exams are much harder than the actual SCWCD exam. So, if you pass the mock exam, you should be in very good shape. There are a couple of typos here and there. In general though, it's a decent book.
