Summary: excellent for self-learning
Comment: I'm more often than not disappointed by books on new technologies. Agile Web Development With Rails is impressive. The tutorial works as described--which is extremely important--and each step is presented in simple, straightforward terms.

My only complaint is the small, grey filename that precedes the code listings--it's not the easiest thing to read.
