Customer Rating: Summary: The Nielsen Rating Comment: The man who popularized web usability has produced what has become the Owners Manual for any Web Designer worth their salt. If you're not following the basic tenets of usability rules, you're not going to succeed in Web Design.
That said, you have to take be careful not to drink too much of the Nielson Kool-Aid, else you will end up with boring, lifeless designs much like his own site.
Customer Rating: Summary: Check out the authors work first Comment: Check out the authors site "alertbox" before buying this book. Does this look like something you'd like to emulate for your site? Not me.... If you think plain, boring, unformatted text really makes the Internet a better place then sure, go for it.
