Comment: The man who popularized web usability has produced what has become the Owners Manual for any Web Designer worth their salt. If you're not following the basic tenets of usability rules, you're not going to succeed in Web Design.

That said, you have to take be careful not to drink too much of the Nielson Kool-Aid, else you will end up with boring, lifeless designs much like his own site.

Does this look like something you'd like to emulate for your site?

Summary: A must read for people coming from print
Comment: Hello,
If you design for print the web is going to be a great shock to you. Jackob breaks it to you easily with great examples. This is also the perfect book for an IT manager wondering what to focus on in a web strategy.
