Summary: Happy Customer
Comment: Within ten minutes after installing this software, I was able to crop and print out a 4"x6" print on my old Hi Touch printer with ease -- no hitches whatsoever -- and the color on the print is excellent. This sort of operation is all I am likely to do. Thank you Adobe.

Thank you also to Amazon which has accepted a return of my purchase of ACDSee's Photo Editor, which I did not like at all.

Summary: Photo Editing Made Easy
Comment: Adobe Photoshop Elements 6
This software makes editing my sports action pictures as well as those I take of special events as well as weddings and receptions as easy as possible. I can hardly wait to upgrade to the next level of photo editing later this year.
Elements 6 makes it very easy for me to prepare my pictures for web publication.
Thank you Adobe!

Summary: great program poor manual
Comment: This is a great program for the average image editing skills that I have.
Unfortunately, the manual leaves much to be desired.
I also purchased the Missing Manual for PhotoElements6.This is comprehensive.
I have found that the use of the organizer the quick edit as well as the guided edit can be eliminated by users who have had some experience with this program before. If you are a pure newbie by all means start with these features.
The raw edit is fantastic,if your digital camera can utilize this feature.

Summary: Great Software
Comment: I always thought Photoshop Elements was a Bowdlerized version of the great Photoshop program, but in version 6 Adobe has everything any photographer would need. They have removed some printing tools, but only the ones a Graphic Arts professional would notice. The only tricky thing is that the user interface is different, but once you learn to navigate it, all the tools work the same.

Summary: Easy to use!
Comment: I have used PhotoShop since 2000 and couldn't afford CS3, so I had to settle with this version, which is good for the everyday person that doesn't need the experienced animation and ditigal effects. I am very happy with it and it is useful for my photobook or scrapbooking needs! I would recommend it to anyone that has used Gimp or PhotoShop. The other issue I have is that I am using Vista and this is the only older version that is compatable with it!
