Summary: Photoshop Elements 6
Comment: I've spent many hours with this product. It is pretty intuitive, and that's a good thing - because it is also very rich in features and there is a long learning curve to fully use those features. I like it - and use it, by choice, instead of other photo processing tools I have. My needs are not professional and limited to simple processing. My only negative reaction is to Photoshop's obviously planned obsolescence of products and continual communication and advertising once you enter their door with their very fine and affordable "Elements" program. For example, I bought elements 6 when new, but as I review it, it is now "old." Go figure!

Summary: Adobe photoshop Elements works great with Vista!
Comment: I was always happy with Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0 on my older XP system. However it did not work at all when I got a new PC with Vista. I purchased 6.0 and it works beautifully with Windows Vista. Plus I feel the features are nicer than v3.0. 3.0 always seemed a bit quirky but dozens of little annoyances seem to have disappeared with this version. I do a lot of photo editing and this program works sweet!

Summary: Not User Friendly
Comment: This product was more expensive than previous photoshop cd-roms I've purchased, and my other ones work so much better. This one doesn't come with an instruction manual and it should if it's going to be so difficult to try to do the simplest tasks. Very disappointed in this product and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Very time consuming and waste of money! I'll just stick to my Photo Explosion Deluxe, which does much more than Photoshop Elements and was 3times cheaper.

Summary: Photoshop Elements 6
Comment: This application seems that it is fairly represented and will do what it advertises. The only drawback is that it doesn't really come with a useful instruction manual. It is necessary to order a manual published by an independent author or hire a tutor in order to use this product. The optional user manuals seem to be very popular. They are back-ordered. I hope to receive my manual at the end of the month, approximately 2 months after receiving the product itself.

Summary: Photoshop Elements 6 somewhat of a disappointment
Comment: Photoshop Elements 6 turned out to be a disappointment as compared to Photoshop Elements 4 as far as the photo editing part is concerned.
There are some improvements in how the tools are accessed but the basic color scheme for which no changes were found under preferences have fonts that are too small and a fairly dark background which makes it difficult to see the down arrows on the pull down boxes. Missing is also the Open file icon where it can easily be accessed. The File pull down menu has been shifted to the right. Compared to other Windows software that is a deviance that annoys. Adobe would have done a lot better by not making these changes for the worse.
