Summary: A lot to be desired
Comment: Many entries on the tool bar are very hard to see. Procedures are difficult to understand due to the poorly written directions, helps, etc.
Knowing what I know now, I wouldn't recommend this product.

Summary: Everything expected and more.
Comment: As a Photoshop user and admirer for years. I thought I would try and replace my outdated software with a less expensive alternative, being I don't use all the elements that I once did (Now retired). I still have a large interest in photography. I am very pleased with Photoshop Elements in almost every aspect.For the price, I really do not think it can be beat. Take a little time to learn the aspects of this software and you will be happy with it.

Summary: Abode Photoshop Elements 6
Comment: I could not get this product to install on my brand new Dell Inspirion Laptop. Tried many times, even downloaded a "patch" for windows VISTA for this product, it then installed, but would not open. I then installed it on my PC (windows XP) and it works great.
Although I was disappointed because one of the reasons why I purchased this product, was so that I could make my own calendars from my pictures. When working with the software, I found out you have to send out (download) the calendars and pay for them from a service.

Summary: Photoshop Elements 6 - Great Program!!!
Comment: I have been using Photoshop for years (since ver.3 early 1990s). I bought Photoshop Elements for my pc because I did not want to have to spend several hundred dollars on a full ver. of photoshop for the PC. (I work on Macintosh computers). Elements for the PC is GREAT, First of all it just cost $89.00 second, it has MANY of the filters and tools of the full version of Photoshop although they are in different places. I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because you cannot convert a photo from RGB to CMYK modes. Other than that I believe this is a wonderful program. The other reviewers who do not like Elements, Obviously have NEVER used Photoshop before and have NO experience working with a professional photo editor. For the Price....This is a GREAT Program!!!

Summary: Not Easy To Learn but a Powerful Application
Comment: I've learned to use it for digital scrapbooking using my family history data and genealogy info. It is not very intuitive but easier to use than full blown Photoshop. I would recommend an on-line course or taking one at your local community college.
