Customer Rating: Summary: photoshop elements Comment: Product came very quickly. My daughter is into photography and is having a blast coming up with different things to do with pictures of her friends. It has a ton of things to do, is easy to learn, and there are many websites that show you how to do different effects.
Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent improvement Comment: I've used Elements for years and this is the best version by far. Would have been nice to have a small starter manual, but that is the way the companies are going these days. I was on version 5 and am really glad I made the upgrade to 6 as I usually go a couple of versions before upgrading, but the reviews talked about some features that would save me time when working with photo's, so I upgraded and am glad I did.
Customer Rating: Summary: Not intuitive Comment: I had been using a very basic Jasc photo software package and recently upgraded to Photoshop 6 on the recommendation of a friend. I must confess I am struggling with this software -- I don't find it to be intuitive at all. I've organized all of my photos but now find that I cannot zoom in on a picture if I am in organize mode. Instead, I must go into fix mode. Does anyone know a way to zoom in on a photo while in organize mode? Once I organize newly downloaded photos, I like to zoom in on some of them to determine if they are keepers. I would like to be able to do this without going into fix mode for each photo. Does anyone know if this is possible?
Customer Rating: Summary: Released before it was ready Comment: I am glad I left Elements 5 installed, as there are several things you can't do in elem.6. It has some good new features which I want so at this point I need both 5 and 6 to satisfy my needs.

Customer Rating: Summary: Not for large screen LCDs Comment: I upgraded from Adobe Elements 2 to Elements 6. The features in Elements 6 are very good, especially the smart fix, but I quit using this program in favor of the old Elements 2 and Corel Paint Shop Pro. I'm running a large screen LCD at 1920 X 1200. Elements 6 menus and icons do not scale up and there is no way to enlarge them via Windows XP or Adobe. Therefore, the menus and icons are so small you can not see them unless you get within 12 inches of your monitor. Also, the batch processing is extremely slow compared to Elements 2. Adobe online was no help. I thought maybe they had a fix, but their tech service was nonexistent. Unfortunately, this was a total waste of my money. Since I process a lot of Photos, I now use Elements 2 for batch processing and Paint Shop Pro for editing. Paint Shop Pro has a nice cropping feature that crops to the sizes required to make standard prints. Every program should have this feature.
